Back home, safe and sound, after 17,644 miles in 5 months!

Yes, we loved our journey very much - our trailer and truck were the perfect size for us.

Can't wait to start planning next summers journey....we have a list already and it's all in the USA.

After almost 2 weeks in Buffalo with John's family, we got to spend a week in No.Virginia with our wonderful kids and daughter-in-law.  Good news update: Grampa is in rehab and will be back home in NY soon too.

It's good to be home. What a fantastic journey. We are so blessed.

Thanks for being along with us as we adventured..........hope you enjoyed the scenery.

Come visit us in Florida, it is 92 today, Oct. 4th 2018 and we look forward to a great Florida winter.

Western NY

We are staying here to be near johns folks as his father went into the hospital last Sunday with pneumonia etc. / Our niece and nephew came to visit and now our son and daughter in law are here  so we are enjoying seeing them as well. We plan to drive south to VA next Tuesday, spend a week and then take 2 days to get back to Matlacha. The trees are starting to turn colors now and it’s cooling off at night.

Leaving Wyoming and heading east on innerstate 80

We so enjoyed our visit with friends and now are heading east quickly to see john's folks and brothers and cousins in Lackawanna, NY.
Spending the night in Lincoln, Nebraska then onto LaSalle, Illinois tomorrow night. Friendly people, clean countrysides and big skies. While we will enjoy being home we have loved our life this past few months and feel so very lucky to have seen such beauty!

Colorado to Wyoming - with dear friends and their family

Drove over the Loveland pass on Innerstate 70, what views. Now, Staying with friends in a beautiful log home in the country! Peaceful, with prong horn sheep and skies filled with stars! Watching the first Bills game of the year tomorrow in their home.

Las Vegas to Grand Junction, Colorado Interstate 70 - WOW!

We said goodbye for now to Vegas and drove through wonderful scenery we weren't expecting. We will come back to this area and spend time exploring Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and MOAB and environs. Long day and we set up for the first time in the dark but worth it!
We are on our way to Denver and then north to visit dear friend Gina and Jim near Laramie, WY.
