Stellar event with the entire Wittee Family and friends from all over the World. Superb accommodations, venue and most of all People……so many memories were shared and revisited! Beautiful drives on the Great Smokey Mountain Expressway, Appalachian Highway, and the Blue Ridge expressway southwest of Asheville, what beautiful mountainous areas!

Mills 2022 Summer Adventure
Greetings! We left Florida on 21 May and after a little rocky start ( car problems and flat tire) we are on the road and getting back into the swing of things! Our itinerary includes many old friends, family and new National Parks and states. We go as far west as Yellowstone this year.
I write this from a charming Cottage in Hendersonville, NC where we are attending the 50th Wedding Anniversary of dear friends, Dave and Jan Wittee. What a marvelous family they are.
We love being in the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina. We drove through Helen, Georgia reminding us of a Bavarian town and are currently staying in Hiawassee, Georgia at the Mountain View Campground near Lake Chatuge. We left the trailer there for the long weekend and are enjoying a wonderful VRBO cottage called Featherstone.
