San Antonio- Fort Stockton - New Mexico - Tucson, Arizona

We have had some adventures! Our thanks to Good Sam Assist for fixing a blown tire ( twice in one day!) Lots of Pecan trees and dust devils along the interstate. Have a new appreciation for rest areas and loving the next exit book which takes all the guesswork out of the "do we have enough gas question".  It's a wonderful feeling rolling along thru miles of nothing, big cities like El Paso and scenic brown and green hills. Particularly taken with north east San Antonio area.
Our microwave and a/c and walk around queen make this very comfortable and having good wifi is a bonus!

Leaving for Las Vegas after breakfast and spending two nights in the Mainstreet Casino Campground.  We get to see my brother Gary and sister in law too, as they live in North Las Vegas. Life is Grand.
We are blessed.

Texas takes 2 days to drive across!

We're getting into a groove

We are getting into a groove with our relaxing 7 hr. drives as we make our way to my brother's home in Las Vegas and Susan's house in Gualala, CA! The "Next  Exit" book is a wonderful resource and we have had great lunch rest stops in Texas!

Alabama, Mississippi to Louisiana all in one day on Interstate 10

 Nice drive today, enjoyed going through Biloxi and Baton Rouge.
Very sketchy internet but managing to hotspot this.

Day1 - Matlacha, Florida to Chattahoochee, Florida

We just pulled in to our campsite for the nite, 85 degrees so no campfire for me and lots of bugs so we are enjoying the a/c inside. Having homemade Thai food, rice and green beans for dinner and a gin and tonic for cocktail.
Life is grand.

Tomorrow we go as far as Henderson, Louisiana enjoying interstate route 10 .......
So far we haven't realized we forgot anything but I already can't find our selfie stick. Guess it could be worse.
Talked with our daughter Margie today and sure love having the hands- free ability wherever we roam. Wifi in the campground appears wonderful too. Our first real stop is in Gualala, California after a quick visit with my brother and sister in law in Las Vegas.
We are truly blessed.

This is the northern portion of our route around B.C
We depart from Prince Rupert for Juneau and Skagway for a 8 day Alaskan Marine Highway journey to view the inside passage while leaving the trailer in the campground!
