Casper and Rawlings, WY

Very limited WiFi and signal the past week in this vast, remote but beautiful countryside. We bought five day fishing licenses and have visited the famous miracle mile along the North Platte River. We haven’t caught anything YET but did watch a 22 inch brown being caught then released by a person in a drift boat very close to us as we fished from the bank. Stunning backroads through canyons with numerous BLM roads and camping areas. Our truck has gotten a workout on some of the roads and we even wished it was a Jeep a few times! What fun. We leave today to go slightly south to Riverside, WY where we will camp in the forest right along the River on the encampment River for 3 nights. after that, sadly it’s goodby to WYOMING and into Colorado.
