We took advantage of the park hiker shuttle system and even though we only hiked 3.5 miles, with some climb and at 10,000 ft. Elevation it was slow going for us. Thankfully we had gortex shoes, jackets and ponchos handy when the blue skies disappeared and a squall quickly moved in. Hail and iced mix pounded us for a few minutes and then it was a bit more rain. Many other hikers were ill-prepared and dashed down the trails quickly. We loved the hike though and so if you flash through the photos hopefully you will feel like you have taken the hike with us! Without the squall of course!
We are loving our walking sticks and camel park as well!
What a beautiful place! Thanks for having us along.
